Dr. Elliot Jacobs

Dr. Elliot Jacobs is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Sanctuary Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton, with more than four decades in the field. He received his M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Training followed at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he completed an internship and a general surgery residency, then plastic surgery training as a resident and later as chief resident. After two years in the US Air Force, he returned to New York City and opened a private practice focused on cosmetic surgery of the face, body and breast. He is an Honorary Police Surgeon for the New York City Police Department and holds attending staff appointments at several New York-area hospitals, where he also teaches younger doctors. Patients have come to him from every continent, and many thousands describe their results as life-changing. His specialties include gynecomastia (male breast reduction), FTM top surgery and other gender-affirming procedures. He designed his own surgical instruments that combine liposuction and gland excision for treating gynecomastia. Local and national New York radio has interviewed him, and national news, beauty and health magazines and newspapers have quoted him on male breast reduction. He belongs to the ASPS, The Aesthetic Society, the Florida Medical Association and several New York medical and plastic surgery societies, and is a Fellow of the ACS and the International College of Surgeons.
