Dr. Ellen Turner

Dr. Ellen Turner serves as dermatologist and Medical Director of a practice with offices in Dallas and Irving, and she has worked in both cities since 2006. That same year she gained consulting staff privileges at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Roughly four-fifths of her caseload is medical and surgical dermatology, with the remaining fifth cosmetic, and skin cancer is a particular focus. She is also Medical Director of FRESH Clinics, providing clinical oversight for medical spas across Texas. She holds a Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock (2001), completed an internship year and a year of internal medicine residency, and finished a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. She has held a Texas Medical License since 2005. She is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Physician Specialties (since 2019) and in functional medicine by the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine. In 2007 she trained under Dr. Mauricio DeMaio as an Allergan Master Injector. In 2021 she was one of three injectors selected for the Allergan AMI Master Class led by Dr. Deborah Sherman, and she is now an Allergan Master Injector Emeritus. She was one of ten Dallas-area injectors chosen to launch Qwo, and she is a Silhouette InstaLift Center of Excellence, one of two physician training centers in Texas. She is also a BTL EMFACE Luminary and one of the leading doctors in the country for EMFACE. She personally performs every cosmetic injection at her office and focuses on elective aesthetic treatments, including Silhouette InstaLift, Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Exion, EMFACE, and laser and light devices. She introduced Sciton in 2006, Ultherapy in 2010, and Halo and Sensus SRT in 2016. In 2025 she founded DrEllenTurner.com, an educational platform for aesthetic providers. Each year she guest lectures on soft tissue augmentation for dermatology residents at UT Southwestern. She has published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, has spoken at national symposiums, and sits on the board of APEX, a network of independent physician specialists in North Texas. She received a 2015 Telly Award, the 2020 Colorescience Partner of the Year Award, and the 2017 Premier Doctor Award.
