Dr. Elizabeth R. Blakemore, M.D.

Elizabeth R. Blakemore, M.D., is a plastic surgeon who concentrates on cosmetic and breast procedures and holds board certification. She launched her private practice at Upstate Plastic Surgery in 2003. The practice presents her as Greenville's first female plastic surgeon and says she received the Best of the Upstate award for Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon. She has also been given the Governor's Kentucky Colonel Award. She graduated with high distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Her general and plastic surgery residency took place at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, followed by a cosmetic and breast surgery fellowship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her plastic surgery credential is from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and she also belongs to the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
