About
Dr. Edward Lee is a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and founded Nuveau. His practice covers face, breast and body surgery. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has hospital privileges at Houston Methodist, Memorial Hermann and St. Luke's, and surgery center privileges at Nuveau Surgery Center. He speaks Korean fluently and Spanish conversationally.
He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and completed a six-year plastic surgery residency there, followed by a craniofacial and pediatric fellowship at Baylor. He later became an Assistant Professor in Baylor's Division of Plastic Surgery. He also trained in Asian aesthetic surgery in Taiwan and South Korea. His approach to Asian plastic surgery aims for results that look subtle and natural.
His surgical procedures include facelifts, including his LeeLift deep plane facelift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, body contouring and mommy makeovers. He also performs BOTOX, filler, laser and nonsurgical skin tightening and contouring treatments. For body contouring, he designs surgical plans around each patient's anatomy, goals and chosen areas, and he walks patients through the factors involved in ordering or staging procedures. He is known for advanced skill and an artistic approach. He is recognized as a Super Doctors Rising Star since 2015 and named one of Houston's Top Doctors since 2017. Baylor College of Medicine gave him its Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award. He is an award-winning educator, researcher and international presenter, and a guest editor and instructor in advanced surgical education.
