Dr. David N. Sayah

Dr. David N. Sayah is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has directed The Sayah Institute's accredited surgery center in Beverly Hills since 2002. He has more than 26 years of surgical experience and personally performs the surgical procedures at the practice, overseeing care from consultation through long-term follow-up. He performs liposculpture rather than simple liposuction, and he welcomes patients from Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and South America.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at UCLA with honors, including Phi Beta Kappa and Latin Honors. He graduated at the top of his class from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and delivered the Hippocratic Speech. His surgical training included a general surgery residency at NYU Medical Center, a plastic surgery residency at UCLA Medical Center and an endoscopic plastic surgery fellowship under Dr. Nicanor Isse.

He is a former clinical faculty member at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the University of Southern California and holds active hospital privileges at Cedars-Sinai, Saint John's Hospital and UCLA Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has handled complex revision procedures, and his research covers wound healing and scar formation, including apoptosis in keloid tissue; this work helps patients heal with minimal scarring. His work has been featured on CNN, Dateline and international publications.
