Dr. Claudia Kim

Dr. Claudia Kim is Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Surgery at New Look New Life. She joined the practice in 2019 and was appointed in 2021 to lead its New York offices. The practice lists her as a surgeon for body surgeries, male surgeries and gender journey procedures, and she has appeared on television and in fashion, beauty and lifestyle publications. Her training includes a general surgery residency at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn and a cosmetic surgery fellowship at New Look New Life in New York. She holds a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was on the Dean's List from 2010 to 2014, a Master of Science in Basic Medical Sciences from New York Medical College, and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and psychology from CUNY Queens College, where she was recognized with Chi Alpha Epsilon and the SEEK Leader Award. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Her work covers surgical and non-surgical facial transformations, body and breast procedures, top surgery, bottom (revision) surgery, and facial feminization and masculinization. She also consults on nasal contouring with dermal fillers, which works without incisions, and can work with patients on weight-related goals such as stubborn fat, hair loss, over-developed breasts and physique enhancement. Consultations are thorough and personalized, taking into account each patient's needs, goals and ethnic background, and she works with patients of many ethnicities. She speaks Korean and intermediate Spanish.
