Dr. Burke Robinson

Dr. Burke Robinson, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who leads Robinson Facial Plastic Surgery, a practice limited to facial and neck cosmetic surgery. According to the practice, he has more than 30 years of experience in facial cosmetic surgery. He became the facial plastic surgeon of a large Atlanta ENT practice in 1995 and opened his own private practice in 2001 after that group closed. He earned a biology bachelor's degree cum laude and an honors medical degree from the University of Arizona, completed a general surgery internship at the University of Arizona Health Center, and then an otolaryngology, head and neck surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, where he also earned a master's degree with a thesis on facial wound healing. From 1991 to 1992 he completed a one-year facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and of the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His active medical licenses are in Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky, Minnesota and Arizona. He has been a National Trainer and Speaker for Galderma Aesthetics since 2007, selected to teach healthcare professionals across the country about neuromodulators and filler injectables, and has served as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2003. He holds hospital privileges and is an active medical staff member at Northside Hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, St. Joseph's Hospital and Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center. He lectures at medical conferences and teaches medical residents about facial surgery. Earlier, he held a National Institutes of Health grant fellowship from 1988 to 1989 researching bone formation in the facial skeleton, and he has co-authored peer-reviewed articles on otolaryngology, facial surgery and bone repair. The practice describes him as known for compassion, honesty and dedication to excellence, and as one of the most trusted cosmetic surgeons in the Atlanta area.
