Burke Robinson

Burke Robinson is a double board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, holding an MD and FACS, who leads Robinson Facial Plastic Surgery. He moved to Atlanta in 1995 to join an ENT practice as its facial plastic surgeon, and began practicing facial plastic surgery in Atlanta that year. When the ENT group dissolved in 2001, he started his own private practice. The practice is dedicated exclusively to facial cosmetic surgery, focused on the face and neck.

His training began with a Bachelor of Science in biology, cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 1981, followed by a medical degree with honors from the same university. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in 1985 to 1986 and an otolaryngology head and neck surgery residency at the University of Minnesota from 1987 to 1991, where he also earned a master's degree studying wound healing of the face. A one-year facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship followed in 1991 to 1992, through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, with Dr. Devinder S. Mangat at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was a National Institutes of Health Grant Research Fellow from 1988 to 1989, researching bone formation through a polymerized lactic acid matrix.

He focuses on facelifts, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and other facial cosmetic procedures, and performs erbium laser skin resurfacing, which the practice says only he performs. His facelift approach lifts and re-drapes the skin rather than pulling it tight. He serves as a national trainer and speaker for Galderma Aesthetics, including on Sculptra, and has been an oral board examiner for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2003. Initial consultations are one-on-one with him, in office or virtually. The practice says he was named America's Top Doctor by U.S. News and World Report in 2016, was inducted into the Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry in September 2021, and received the Ben Shuster Memorial Award, Honorable Mention, in 1992.
