Dr. Barry DiBernardo

Dr. Barry DiBernardo is a plastic surgeon with board certification who practices at Sanctuary Plastic Surgery in Boca Raton, Florida. He is also an expert plastic surgeon in West Palm Beach. He opened his own private practice in 1991 and, for more than 25 years, has worked across research, teaching and new technology in lasers, energy devices, skincare, injectables, hair transplantation and aesthetic surgery. Before that, he spent five years as a general surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He earned his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College and completed a two-year plastic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center, part of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and works as a Certified International Instructor for several laser, light-based and skincare methods. Harper's Bazaar Magazine included him among its Top 24 Top Beauty Doctors, and Aesthetic Everything named him a Top Plastic Surgeon for the Eastern United States in 2016. He served as immediate past president, 2017-2018, of The Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation of ASAPS, and as past president of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, 2005-2006. He serves as the medical lead for New Jersey Plastic Surgery and the New Jersey Clinical Research Center, both in Montclair, New Jersey. He holds an adjunct clinical professorship in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and an associate clinical professorship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He advises skincare, injectable and technology companies. He is counted among the world's leaders in clinical photography and imaging.
