Dr. Balvant Arora

Dr. Balvant Arora is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with MD and MBA degrees who works as a hair transplant surgeon and anti-aging physician at The Hair Loss Clinic. He has practiced in the US for 21 years. He is highly experienced and award-winning. He is also named on the Top Plastic Surgeons of Northern Virginia list for many years, and he received his business school's Outstanding Student Award. He completed general surgery and plastic surgery residencies, at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York and Oregon Health Sciences University in Oregon, and a one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He then served as Assistant Professor in plastic surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he taught and did research. In 2008 he moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia, as a staff plastic surgeon at Mary Washington and Stafford Hospitals, and later became Chief of Surgery and President of Medical Staff at Stafford Hospital. He has presented on plastic surgery topics at conferences and seminars in the US and abroad, and has been a guest on radio talk shows. His clinical work centers on hair loss, hair growth treatments and hair transplants, including beard transplants, scalp micropigmentation and Motorized FUE, which he has performed many times. He also practices plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, along with anti-aging medical treatments and surgeries. His memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, where he is active, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, where he holds associate membership. He conducts the Hair Analysis Exam and the physical hair examination, and he has researched and developed technology for medical treatments.
