Dr. Anthony Traverse

Dr. Anthony Traverse is an optometrist (O.D.) who serves as CEO and Managing Partner of Kennedy Vision Health Center, a family-owned eye care practice in Plymouth and Otsego, Minnesota. According to the site, he is the practice's current owner and has held the CEO and Managing Partner role since 2012. He started out as an optometric technician under Dr. David Kennedy, who co-founded the practice in 1974.

He began with pre-med coursework at Rochester Community College, earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and completed his optometry training at Pacific University in Oregon. He later returned to Maple Grove to build his eye care career.

His focus is precise prescriptions and individualized solutions for each patient's vision, and he manages eye diseases including glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. He says building long-term relationships with patients and their families is the part of the work he enjoys most. He belongs to the Minnesota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. According to the site, the Star News Readers Choice Awards have honored him several times as Best Optometrist/Eye Care Doctor.
