Dr. Anthony Traverse, O.D.

Dr. Anthony Traverse, O.D., leads Kennedy Vision Health Center as CEO and managing partner and owns the practice, supervising a team of seven doctors. He has held that leadership role since 2012. Before becoming an optometrist, he worked as an optometric technician under Dr. Kennedy.

His schooling ran from Rochester Community College to undergraduate study at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, followed by professional optometry training at Pacific University in Oregon. His clinical emphasis is on precise prescriptions, customized care approaches, and managing eye conditions such as glaucoma and diabetes. He places a high value on lasting relationships with patients and their families. He holds membership in the Minnesota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. The practice reports that he has been named Best Optometrist/Eye Care Doctor several times in the Star News Readers Choice Awards.
