Dr. Anthony Terrasse

Anthony Terrasse, MD, FACS, is a surgeon at Terrasse Aesthetic Surgery in Lake Forest, where his practice centers on aesthetic plastic surgery and skin care. He holds a B.S. in Preprofessional Studies, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, class of 1979, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School in 1983 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He completed three years of general surgery residency, then three years of plastic surgery training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He stayed on there as a faculty member and clinical instructor of residents in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a past chair of the Department of Surgery at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and continues in leadership roles there. His privileges include Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, the NorthShore University HealthSystem hospitals in Highland Park, Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie, and Advocate Condell. He treats adult and child patients who want to improve their appearance and self-esteem, seeing them at the Lake Forest office, including evenings and weekends. He represents the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery on their national spokesperson networks and often speaks at women's seminars and at hospital and community events. He has been named a Top Doctor in plastic surgery by Chicago and North Shore magazines and by U.S. News & World Report, and is listed consistently as a top aesthetic surgeon in the Castle Connolly Guide. He has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX broadcasts and in People, Crain's Chicago Business and the Chicago Tribune.
