Dr. Anthony Capasso

Dr. Capasso directs integrative medicine at ThinMD MedSpa in Jacksonville and serves as Chief Medical Officer of Thin Centers MD. He is board certified in internal medicine and has more than 30 years of clinical practice. He held an academic post as Associate Medical Professor at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, before opening a private practice with an office in Jacksonville Beach. Folio Magazine voted him the number one physician in Jacksonville Beach in 2009.

His medical training includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama and a residency at the University of Florida, where he developed his interest in internal medicine. He completed a fellowship in peptide medicine in 2018. He graduated cum laude from Ohio State University in 1987.

His clinical focus covers preventive medicine and bioidentical hormones, along with metabolic optimization, hormone rebalancing, inflammation control, immune enhancement and cognitive health. He takes an integrated approach that blends nutrition, diet, hormones and non-invasive therapies, usually starting with a balanced nutrition plan and healthy lifestyle habits. He designed and leads the weight-loss programs, products and treatments at Thin Centers MD, and works with his team on personalized weight-loss plans. He has a record of helping patients manage weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes risk, and he is an internationally recognized longevity expert.
