Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong

Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong is a cosmetic surgeon at FemSculpt. He is board-certified in cosmetic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery and general surgery through the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He holds FACS and FAACS designations and belongs to the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. He is an officer on the Board of Trustees of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and fellowship director at Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics. He has more than 20 years in cosmetic medicine and has performed thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures.

He earned a bachelor's degree in pre-med and English at the University of Notre Dame, where he received the Notre Dame Scholar award, and a medical doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. Surgical training lasted five years at the University of Illinois and Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago, covering cancer, burn, vascular, trauma and minimally invasive surgery. He was chief resident at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Lutheran General Hospital, then completed the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship and a three-year apprenticeship in aesthetic plastic surgery under Michael Byun, MD, of Chicago Cosmetic Surgery. His work on skin regeneration has appeared in medical journals. A 2012 listing from the Consumer's Research Council of America named him one of America's top surgeons in cosmetic surgery.

He trains other physicians in advanced labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation technique. His specialties are labiaplasty, breast and body enhancement, facial rejuvenation and cosmetic surgery planning, and his training also includes liposuction, fat transfer and body contouring.
