Dr. Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is a board-certified plastic surgeon who sees patients at the Irvine office and throughout Orange County. He is Chief of the Plastic Surgery Subsection at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center and holds staff positions at Hoag Hospital Irvine, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and Saddleback Memorial. He is an active member of the breast centers at Saddleback and Hoag, and a past president of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgery. Key Professional Media and Los Angeles Magazine both chose him as a Super Doctor.

As chief resident at UCLA early in his career, he helped separate conjoined twins. Coverage of that work ran on the Today Show, on Good Morning America and in the New York and LA Times. He has also appeared in KCBS American Health Front segments about facelifts and about body changes after weight loss. He has more than 15 years of surgical experience and has performed thousands of breast surgeries.

He trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at UCLA and with several plastic surgeons in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, including members of an extreme makeover team. His facial work includes facelifts, rhinoplasty, brow lifts, eyelid surgery and neck lifts. His breast procedures cover augmentation, lifts, reduction, revision and reconstruction, for cosmetic, reconstructive and medical reasons. Body contouring includes tummy tucks, liposuction, mommy makeovers and arm lifts. He has specialized training in nose reshaping. He sees women and men for cosmetic surgery and nonsurgical skin treatments, and offers semaglutide weight management injections at the Irvine office.

In consultations he assesses whether a single facial procedure or a combination suits the patient, and where a patient qualifies he pairs nonsurgical skin treatments with surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgery and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
