Dr. Andres Zavala

Dr. Andres Zavala is a cosmetic surgeon and vein specialist at Ciao Bella Cosmetic Surgery, where he has worked since 2013. He began there as a phlebologist in mid-2013, became the vein clinic's medical director in January 2014, and moved into cosmetic surgery in January 2019. He is skilled at diagnosing and treating venous disease and at performing liposuction. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, with a minor in French, from Arizona State University in Tempe. He then completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. His training continued with phlebology training at Ciao Bella Vein Clinic in Chandler, focused on venous disorders of the lower extremities, and cosmetic surgery and aesthetic medicine training at Ciao Bella Cosmetic Surgery. He has also completed further training in liposuction, injectables and laser treatments. From 2012 to 2013 he provided outpatient care to uninsured patients at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Free Medical Clinic, and in 2013 he presented on lower extremity venous disease at the Society of General Internal Medicine. For vein treatment he uses endovascular options, among the least invasive available. He forms strong relationships with his patients. He speaks English and Spanish fluently and French at a fair level.
