Dr. Andrei Marechek

Orange County surgeon Dr. Andrei Marechek holds both MD and DDS degrees and is board-certified. He has operating privileges at Hoag Hospital and UCI Medical Center, and his practice centers on facial aesthetic surgery, facial recontouring, TMJ surgery and orthognathic jaw surgery.

He did his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego, then earned a DDS at the UCLA School of Dentistry and an MD at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. General surgery training followed at University Hospitals. He completed a five-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Case Western Reserve with a facial surgery emphasis, then a fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery at Perenack Aesthetic Center, AACS. While a resident physician at University Hospitals and MetroHealth Medical Center, both Level I trauma centers, he built experience in complex post-traumatic facial reconstruction. Part of the residency was also spent at the Cleveland Clinic.

He is an assistant clinical professor at UCI Medical Center and holds a part-time clinical faculty appointment in the UCLA Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also affiliated with Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach. Through these faculty roles, he helps train future surgeons.
