About

Dr. Ali Charafeddine founded Eden Plastic Surgery Institute in Miami, where he is medical director, and is board certified in plastic surgery. His three years of clinical and basic science research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and Emory University produced publications in Nature Medicine, The American Journal of Transplantation and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal. He was asked to co-write Facelift, an issue of Clinics in Plastic Surgery (Volume 46-4).

Training started with plastic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, covering reconstructive and aesthetic work. A one-year advanced facial aesthetic fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, under Professor James Zins, covered facelift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, and endoscopic surgery.

He specializes in facelift surgery, including the EVELift. He also does blepharoplasty and brow lifts, lip augmentation and reduction, and facial feature reshaping and rejuvenation. He received Emory's 7th research award and The Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation Award in 2016 and 2018.
