Ali Charafeddine, MD

Ali Charafeddine, MD, founded Eden Plastic Surgery Institute, where he serves as medical director, and he is board certified in plastic surgery. Training began at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he worked across reconstructive and aesthetic cases. He then spent a year in a fellowship in advanced facial aesthetic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, trained under Professor James Zins, with a focus on facelifts, upper and lower eyelid work, functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, and endoscopic procedures.

He spent three years in clinical and basic science research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and at Emory University. His papers have appeared in Nature Medicine, The American Journal of Transplantation, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, and he co-wrote the book Facelift, An Issue of Clinics in Plastic Surgery, Volume 46-4. He received Emory's 7th research award and The Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation Award in 2016 and 2018.

His specialties include the EVELift facelift, eyelid and brow surgery, face and body reshaping, facial rejuvenation, and lip augmentation and reduction. Planning starts with learning what each patient is concerned about regarding appearance and what result they want.
