Dominick Golio

Dominick Golio is a plastic surgeon specializing in facial plastic surgery. His procedures cover eyelid enhancements above and below the eye, brow lifts, nose reshaping, facelifts and treatment of facial skin cancer. He has practiced for more than twenty years and is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, New York and Florida, and to perform aesthetic surgery in those states. He trained at St. George's University School of Medicine, completed a residency at New York Medical College and held fellowships at Beraja Medical Institute, MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas and the Craniofacial Foundation of Utah. He has served as Adjunct Professor of Surgery at St. George's University from April 2005. At Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York, he was Clinical Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery and Ophthalmology from 2006 to 2010. In 2008 he served as Acting Chief of Plastic Surgery there, and he also held the directorship of craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery and led the oculoplastic surgery service. He is affiliated with Montefiore New Rochelle, Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital and NYC Health and Hospitals/Coney Island. His research interests include keloid management, maxillofacial trauma care and reconstructive surgical oncology. He holds two United States patents and is a member of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons.
