Carlos A. Fumero

Carlos A. Fumero is an endocrinologist who holds board certification in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, and is also certified in internal medicine with endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he teaches medical students, residents and fellows, and he is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He speaks Spanish and English. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (Unibe) School of Medicine in 1999 and completed internal medicine and endocrinology training at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. His primary interests are diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormone deficiencies and obesity. For weight concerns he uses a multidisciplinary program that looks at social, psychological and physical factors. He also offers testosterone replacement therapy and monitors for side effects.
