Dharmeshkumar Patel

Dr. Dharmeshkumar Patel is the president, chief executive and founder of Georgia Family Care, and holds an M.D. and F.A.A.F.P. credentials. He is board certified in family medicine. He completed a family medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2001 and trained at Spartan Health Sciences University. He practiced in Alabama before moving to Georgia in 2005.

He has served primary care patients in DeKalb and Gwinnett counties for nearly 30 years. He focuses on chronic disease management, especially patients with multiple conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Education and prevention are foundational to his practice, and he treats the whole patient, physically and mentally, at every age. He is a favorite among families and has earned honors including America's Most Honored Professionals, Compassionate Doctor and Patients' Choice. He speaks English, Spanish, Gujarati, Hindi and Punjabi.
