Desiree Merulli

Desiree Merulli founded Qi Oasis and works there as its holistic practitioner. She has been licensed as an acupuncturist in Washington State since 2001 and is nationally board-certified through the NCCAOM. Her listed credentials are L.Ac., AEMP and RYT, and she has more than 20 years of clinical experience. Her training includes a Masters of Acupuncture from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (2001), a B.S. in Zoology, Physiology and General Science from Portland State University (1994), and massage practitioner training at Bellevue Massage School (1998). She was a licensed massage practitioner in Washington State from 1998 to 2020 and sat on the Board of Directors of the Washington Acupuncture & Eastern Medicine Association from 2012 to 2015. She treats a range of injury and pain conditions, from sports injuries and back pain to sciatica, tendonitis, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, TMJ, migraines and joint pain, and supports recovery after surgery and car accidents. She also works on mood and sleep concerns, including stress, anxiety and depression, as well as fatigue, allergies, digestive imbalances, and women's health and menopause support. On the cosmetic side she offers microneedling, Nano Infusion, facial acupuncture, scar and acne work, LED light therapy, facial gua sha, and hair regrowth. She has studied three styles of cosmetic acupuncture and built her own protocol, tailored to each client, that addresses all of a client's concerns in one session. Her other services include B12 injections, fire cupping, electro-acupuncture and point injection therapy. Continuing education includes point injection therapy with FHC Continuing Education Seminars, a 2020 microneedling certification from Acumicro, and a 2023 Acumicro course on microneedling for hair loss. She has also completed craniosacral and functional nutrition training, and has been a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance since 2015.
