About
Denise Selber is the owner of Dermacode Skincare and started the business as an independent practice in New York. Before working in skincare, she spent many years as a physiotherapist in Brazil.
Her skincare career took her to Melbourne, Australia, where she worked as a facialist for Āesop and later at Code M in South Yarra. She trained at Elly Lukas, where she earned an aesthetician diploma with awards in science and was named Dux of the school in 2013. She also holds CIDESCO, ITEC and CIBTAC diplomas and obtained a New York state license for aesthetics in 2021.
Her focus is skin care and skin science. She plans each facial around the client's skin, starting with a conversation about the client's skin, concerns and expectations.
