Denise Barbosa

Denise owns Brows by Denise, where she works as the brow artist. Her career in beauty and aesthetics now spans more than 25 years, beginning with waxing and other aesthetic treatments before she moved into eyebrow design and restoring natural brows. She completed Esthetics and Cosmetology training in 1996 and studied alongside artists in New York and California.

She focuses on natural brow shaping and restoration for brows that are thin, uneven, or over-tweezed, including brows that have been damaged or have stopped growing. Clients who have been hurried through or over-waxed at other services are welcome. A first visit opens with a talk about previous experiences, lifestyle, and approaches that did not work, then moves to a personalized plan aimed at restoring balance and fullness.

Her licenses are as a Licensed Cosmetologist in New York State and Nassau County, a Licensed Esthetician and Aesthetics Specialist in Nassau County, and a Licensed Permanent Cosmetic Artist and Microblading Specialist in Nassau County. She is also a Certified Professional Makeup Artist, holds an Advanced Brow Artistry and Facial Structure Certification, and continues her master education in brow work.
