Debi

Debi works as a hairdresser and the Apprentice Education Lead at Pony Studios, with more than 20 years in hairdressing as a stylist, educator and mentor. She started at Vidal Sassoon, where she spent 10 years as a stylist, educator and assistant manager. She then spent 14 years as director of haircutting education at diPietro Todd Salons + Academy, across multiple locations.

At Pony she runs the weekly in-house apprentice program and teaches as a Pony Education educator. Her cutting classes use live models and cover shags, bobs, and scissor and razor technique. Her work is known for creative and technical haircutting, particularly classic bobs, short razor cuts and creative shapes. Clients describe her cuts as precise, especially her razor-cut bobs. She believes hair is a unique expression of individuality.
