Corinna Hernandez

Corinna founded Pony Studios and, in 2014, Pony Education, with the aim of offering training to hairdressers at every level. She has been a hairdresser for nearly 20 years and an educator for over 13. She trained as a Sassoon stylist, completing a three-year Sassoon apprenticeship, and later worked at Bumble and bumble, where she was part of the core education team and a lead educator for more than a decade. Her career includes 12 seasons backstage at fashion week, over a decade of editorial work, and backstage styling on shows including Dior in Paris and Dolce & Gabbana in Milan.

She has taught at more than 250 salons and for over 3,000 stylists across the country. Her work has been featured in Elle Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, Refinery29 and San Francisco Magazine. She curates the Pony Education roster of educators and teaches classes herself, including razor and scissor technique. She specializes in cuts, especially textured and curly hair and razor cuts, and works in editorial and backstage styling.
