DeAndra owns Zap Beauty Bar. She has been a licensed esthetician since 2014, with licenses in several states, and has worked in aesthetics since that same year. Much of her practice centers on acne and pigmentation. Her advanced training spans acne care, hyperpigmentation, peel treatments, corrective skin care, advanced facial work, laser hair removal, electrolysis, skin of color, and professional skincare ingredients. She also trained on the skincare systems and modalities used at the studio. Before a first in-person appointment, clients can book a Zoom consultation, where she reviews their skin on screen. Visitors who want to understand their skin, put questions to her, or relax during a treatment are welcome. She keeps up her education, researches anything unfamiliar to her, and refers clients elsewhere when a concern lies beyond her scope of practice.
