Dean Mammales

Dean Mammales started Cobblestone Spine and Joint Institute in Royal Palm Beach in 2006, following almost ten years at Spine and Sports Medicine in Manhattan, where he worked as a chiropractor and also as a practice administrator. He has been seeing patients since 1996, which amounts to roughly three decades of treatment, first in Manhattan and then in Royal Palm Beach from 2006 onward. He received his DC from Life Chiropractic College in 1996. His services cover chiropractic care, non-surgical spinal decompression, MLS laser therapy and manual therapy. Conditions he addresses include back and neck pain, sciatica, whiplash, long-term joint dysfunction, disc injuries, injuries from auto accidents and sports-related spinal injuries. He is known for helping people whose earlier care has not produced a clear answer. After a collision, he runs orthopedic evaluations that assess joint movement, provocation tests and neurological screening, and he treats soft tissue trauma, cervical radiculopathy, lumbar sprains, disc herniations and whiplash from car accidents. He performs the orthopedic and neurological exam himself before any hands-on treatment starts, and at the first evaluation he determines whether spinal decompression should be part of the plan. He tracks each patient's progress and makes the clinical decisions throughout the course of care. Patients who want a second opinion on surgery can have him independently review their imaging.
