Davide Marinelli

Davide Marinelli founded Davide Hair Studio, where he serves as creative director and also works as a stylist and colorist. He has spent more than 19 years in hairdressing, with classical training gained in salons in New York City and Italy. He opened the studio in New York City.

His services include precision bobs, long layers, gentleman's cuts, clipper fades, blowouts, updos, short cuts, customized balayage, and cutting of high-density hair. His red carpet hair work draws on his editorial experience.

He has done backstage work at New York Fashion Week for designers including Jason Wu, Theory, Monique Lhuillier, Cartier, Jasmine Chong and Robert James. He has also joined the Oribe Education team backstage for shows by Brandon Maxwell, Sally Lapointe, Edun, R13 Denim, A Détacher and The Blonds. With the Oribe team at New York Men's Week, he has worked on shows for Cadet, Chapter, David Hart and J Linderberg.

He works with leading New York City modeling agencies and celebrity clients. He has taught as an Oribe educator in salons and on tour with Oribe Haircare ateliers. Cosmopolitan, Paper, Refinery29, Beauty List, Redbook and Amex Essentials have quoted his hair tips. At the academy, he leads Blowout Bootcamp classes.
