David Robinson, M.D.

David Robinson, M.D. is the plastic surgeon at Indiana Plastic Surgery, which serves Munster and Valparaiso, and he leads the practice's med spa. He has practiced since 2001, focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and body. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and he belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He earned an undergraduate degree at Indiana University-Bloomington and a medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, graduating in 1993. His general surgery training at Michigan State University-East Lansing included a year of shock and trauma research, and he completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has also completed specialized training in each surgical procedure the practice offers. He has been a volunteer clinical assistant professor of surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine Northwest Campus since 2014, and he is also an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Indiana University Medical School Northwest campus. At Community Hospital in Munster, he was vice chairman of surgery from 2006 to 2012, chairman of surgery from 2012 to 2015, and president of the medical and dental staff from 2015 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022 he was medical director of the Community Hospital Surgery Center. He has also authored several published articles. In the med spa, he offers a selected range of injectables, including BOTOX Cosmetic and Juvederm, plus other FDA-approved options such as Voluma, Kybella and Jeuveau.
