Darya Johnson

Darya Johnson owns DarRiah Naturals and works as a texture specialist. She is a natural hair preservationist and celebrity stylist, and she specializes in natural hair. Her work has included comedians, athletes, musicians and other public figures, and her commercial credits include Chicago, Ebony and Essence magazines, Afrique, Chicago Social and N'Digo. Her services cover cutting, braiding and extensions, including weaves and sew-ins. The protective styles she works on include braids, crochet styles, extensions, Microlink, I-tips, weaves, locs and twists. She previously ran a main salon in Chicago while operating out of Arizona, where she now works. She is a Board Certified Master Cosmetologist, holds an educator license, is certified as a first-level Hair Loss Specialist, has completed Extreme Lash classes, and continues her education. She plans to open an online school to share her techniques with students worldwide.
