About
Daniel L. Kapp is a board-certified plastic surgeon who owns the practice. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia and a medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, and he completed training as an Anastasi Fellow in plastic surgery. Following medical school, he served as a clinical instructor in plastic surgery and general surgery at Ohio State University College of Medicine, then as a junior faculty member at Boston University Medical Center. He moved back to Florida and started a private practice in 2004.
He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Ohio. He has previously served as Chief of Surgery at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and as Chair of the Young Physicians Section of the Palm Beach County Medical Society. He is the only plastic surgeon on the Medical Advisory Board of MDLIVE, a telehealth provider. He has chaired many medical committees and authored papers on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
His practice covers breast reconstruction, breast enhancement, body contouring, facial rejuvenation and skin cancer reconstruction. His honors include the Ohio State University Department of Surgery Research Award, the Ohio State University Medical Director's Award, the Upjohn & Pharmacia pharmacology prize, and the Honors Award in Surgery from the University of South Florida's medical college. In 2010 he was part of a group of Palm Beach County physicians who reached Haiti within 72 hours of its earthquake.
