Damien Carney

Damien Carney is the Master Hairstylist at Sam Brocato Salon. He founded Damien Carney London, a hairstyling and photography academy, in 2006. Earlier he served as Artistic Director and principal trainer for one of London's hairstyling academies, and he worked at Trevor Sorbie's Covent Garden Salon, where he rose to the position of Principle of Education.

According to the salon, he has styled hair for music and film stars, supermodels and fashion campaigns, and he was lead stylist on America's Next Top Model. His work has appeared in ELLE, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, W, Cosmopolitan and GQ. He is listed as a Certified Presenter for ABC, NBC and QVC appearances.

The site also lists several honors: named one of Modern Salon Magazine's 50 Influential Hairdressers in 2008, a finalist at the 2009 AIPP Coiffure Hairdressing Awards in Paris, International Stylist of the Year at the 2012 Mirror Awards and at the 2013 Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards, 2017 North American Hairstylist of the Year from the Professional Beauty Association, and winner of the British Hairdressing Award for Men's Hairdresser of the Year. A haircut is listed at $210, with a new-client haircut special at $180.
