Dagmy

Dagmy is the Master Nail Technician and gel specialist at Guapa! Nail Studio, with more than eight years of experience as a nail technician. She began doing nails professionally while studying at a university in Cuba, after teaching herself the basics, and later completed a beauty course there to refine her technique.

After arriving in the United States she worked at several salons, including Menta y Canela. She then went independent with a colleague at Nails and Pearls, and later moved into her own suite on Alhambra Circle, where she now works. Some of her clients have been coming for years.

She completed the nail technician programme at Transformation Beauty School and holds a Florida license as a master nail technician. Her work centres on gel, including soft gel, poly gel, builder gel, gel manicures and nail art. She recommends a photo for nail art and will say beforehand if a design will not suit the nail length.
