About
Cynthia Carsten serves as medical director, founder and lead practitioner at Face Time Aesthetics. Her early work was in emergency medicine. She later moved into hospital executive roles overseeing clinical operations, and she founded Tucson's first Aesthetic Advisory Board. A docuseries, Women in Power, has also featured her. Carsten received her training from Dr. Zein Obagi, the founder of ZO Skin Health. She is recognized as one of only 40 ZO Ambassadors worldwide. As a National Trainer, she teaches advanced injection methods to practitioners across the country. Her clinical focus covers injectables, neuromodulators, skin health, bioidentical hormones and medical weight management. Her credentials include board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), certified laser technician, certified BHRT specialist, and the ABHRT and CEN credentials. She also curates the practice's Aesthetic Insights articles.
