Crystal Tushinsky is a New York City hairstylist who has been behind the chair for nearly 20 years and has worked with NYC clients for almost two decades. She graduated from Paul Mitchell NYC in 2007 and trained with several of the city's well-known hairstylists over her career. Before going independent she managed salons, and she co-owned Haute Air. She worked at Red Market Salon from 2011 to 2018 and now works independently in the city.
Her focus is low-maintenance blondes, rich brunettes, precision haircuts, healthy hair and effortless styling. She often works with women who are constantly on the move through the city, and with clients whose hair is thick, fine, textured, straight, wavy, curly, unruly or frizzy.
She also takes seasonal appointments in Miami, California and The Hamptons.
