Crystal Swinder

Crystal Swinder owns The Browtender Studio, where she works as an esthetician. She is a licensed esthetician who earned her license at the Steiner Institute of Esthetics, now Cortiva Institute, in 2013, and she started working in esthetics right after. She has practiced for over 13 years. She also worked for ULTA Beauty for more than three years as a Benefit Brow Artist. She won several ULTA contests and awards, including being one of seven North American winners of the GLAMbassador award. She is a Satin Smooth waxing educator and holds five certifications as a Lamination Brow Artist. She won the Baltimore Readers' Choice Award for Best Waxing in 2020 and 2021 and was runner-up in 2023. Her specialties are eyebrow shaping and body waxing, and she is known for her brow grooming and waxing techniques. She personally trains all Browtender estheticians in current techniques and best practices.
