Collette Peterson

Collette Peterson owns and runs La Jolla Hair Clinic and brings more than three decades of hair industry experience to the role. She first learned the trade working alongside her father, Jerry Piatt, and she also spent time at the family-owned Golden Touch Salon. Her hair replacement clients include men, women and children. Their hair loss varies in stage and type and comes from both medical and non-medical causes. She puts particular attention on women and children who are experiencing hair loss. In 2003 she was invited to pass on her hair replacement and design expertise to peers. Since then she has instructed stylists and colleagues at large conferences and smaller events throughout the United States and overseas. She has also taken part in platform presentations and has shown salons new to hair replacement how to work with it. She has contributed to manufacturer design teams, where she helped develop stock systems, select color swatches and provide technical support. She is a member of the American Hair Loss Council. Offerings include hand-made custom hair systems, hair extensions, custom wigs, and hair styling and coloring.
