Chukwuemeka Alexander Anyake, MD, MPH

Chukwuemeka Alexander Anyake, MD, MPH, serves as Medical Director of Psychiatry at Diamond Lake Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he assesses and treats adults with mental health and substance use disorders.

He received his medical degree from the University of Nigeria Medical School and later obtained a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, focusing on health care organization and policy. His psychiatry residency took place at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Earlier in his career, he worked as an emergency room and inpatient psychiatrist at Twin Cities Hospitals and served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. From 2012 to 2015, he led the Acute Psychiatric Service at Hennepin County Medical Center as its Medical Director.

He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and belongs to the Minnesota Psychiatric Society.
