Christine Chin

Christine Chin is the founder of Christine Chin Spa on Orchard Street. She trained at beauty school as a teenager, as a makeup artist and esthetician, and later trained in the art and science of Asian skincare. She became a champion makeup artist in Malaysia. She moved to the United States and built a clientele at a SoHo salon. She later moved away from makeup artistry to focus on facials and brow grooming. She worked 11 years as an esthetician in New York before opening the spa, and she is a licensed esthetician in New York State. Fans call her Mean Christine for her thorough work and attention to detail. She has celebrity and fashion industry clients, including models, actresses and actors.
