About
Chloë is the founder of Bohemia Skin and Body and works as a certified massage therapist and a California licensed esthetician. She began her career as a bodyworker and holistic esthetician in 2001 and has spent more than two decades in the field, including training around the world. She has collaborated with formulators Marie Veronique and Kristina Holey.
Her training covers a 1000-hour massage therapy program and hot stone and infant massage certification at the Vermont Institute of Massage Therapy, a 600-hour esthetics program at Avalon School of Esthetics and Cosmetology, and Elements and Advanced Esalen Massage at Esalen Institute in Big Sur. She has also studied gua sha and herbal poultice facial massage with Cecily Braden, Vodder method manual lymphatic drainage for the face and neck, craniosacral therapy and multi-dimensional bodywork. Further study includes Vermont Reiki Institute Level One and Level Two Practitioner training, aromatherapy at the Vermont School of Aromatherapy and a gua sha acne intensive. She holds the Pro-Age Esthetics NeoLifting and Buccal Massage Certification, the Advanced Buccal Neolift Certification and a Holistic Esthetician Certification from Botnia.
Her work focuses on buccal massage, lymphatic drainage, connective tissue release and specific skin conditions. She offers the Holistic First-Time Facial, which is available exclusively with her, and starts each first visit with an in-depth conversation about skin history, routine, lifestyle and goals before creating a tailored treatment. Treatments combine skincare with restorative facial massage, and LED or cryotherapy is added as suits the client's skin.
