Charlotte King

Charlotte King is a Doctor of Acupuncture at Emerging Energy and holds board certification in that title. She earned her Master's in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture in Newton, Massachusetts, where she studied Chinese, Japanese and orthopedic acupuncture styles. Her training also includes pediatric techniques, and she worked under specialists in sports medicine and musculoskeletal pathology, reproductive health, mental health and pediatrics. Her bachelor's degree is from Eckerd College. Her post-graduate work concentrated on chronic and acute back pain, mental health disorders, insomnia, headaches and women's health, and she has a special interest in orthopedic problems and injuries. Treatment is shaped for each patient using several acupuncture styles and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and she blends eastern and western medicine toward each patient's wellness goals.
