Charkendra serves as the Loc-tender at AIJUSDOLOCS, where the focus is on loc health and upkeep.
Training began at Franklin Beauty School, completed in the evenings while teaching high school English. Charkendra obtained a license after completing that training. Natural hair care essentials were first learned as a client and student at Uncle Funky's Daughter, a natural hair salon.
Earlier experience includes four years working with Hahleemah Wright at The Way of Life Natural Hair Haven, beginning in June 2011.
