About
Catherine Durboraw, MD, is the founder of Center for Aesthetics and a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon who completed an ASOPRS fellowship. She opened a private practice in Idaho Falls, Idaho in 1998 and began seeing patients in Scottsdale in 2010. Her work centers on non-surgical aesthetic medicine, with specialties in dermal fillers, Botox and Dysport, and laser treatments.
Her training includes a medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, which she earned with highest honors, graduating second in her class, followed by a four-year ophthalmology residency at the same university. She completed an ASOPRS-approved fellowship with Orkan Stasior, MD, in Albany, New York, and her background is in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She has practiced regenerative medicine for several years.
She performs all Ultherapy treatments at the practice and is recognized as an innovator in Ultherapy technique, having lectured on it at national meetings. She has developed proprietary de-aging protocols, offered only at the practice, that combine technologies, and her work focuses on non-surgical protocols that address the aging process. When guiding filler treatment, she often asks patients to bring a photo from their younger years, and she uses fillers to restore natural contours rather than to lift the face. For structural concerns she recommends CFA Trifecta.
