About
Carthy is the founder and owner of Esse Med Spa + PMU in Denver, where she works as a cosmetologist, permanent makeup artist, eyebrow tattoo removal specialist and permanent makeup trainer. She has worked in the aesthetics industry for over 20 years and now focuses on permanent makeup.
Her permanent makeup work covers feathered nano machine hairstrokes, microblading, ombre powder brows, combination brows, natural lash liner and lip blush. She developed a signature technique she calls Feathered Nano Brows. Feathered nano, microblading, ombre or combo brows with her are listed at $1,200 for 120 minutes, and natural lash liner at $800 for 90 minutes.
Her laser work grew out of years spent treating and removing old permanent makeup, which led her to specialize in laser tattoo removal, mainly old permanent makeup on the eyebrows. Her treatment menu includes tattoo removal, eyebrow tattoo removal, Secret Ultra, Secret Ultra Light, PicoGenesis and a skin rejuvenation consultation. She also trains other permanent makeup artists.
