Carol Donohue, RN, BSN

Carol Donohue works as a registered nurse and injector at Chicago Aesthetics Surgery & Med Spa, holding RN and BSN credentials. Nursing has been her career for over 34 years, more than 19 of them spent in aesthetics. She earned her nursing degree from Truman College in 1985, and College of St. Francis in Joliet conferred a Bachelor of Science on her in 1992. Her first training came from oculo-facial plastic surgeon David Turok. Over the course of her work she has worked alongside David Ross, Peter Geldner, Gregory Turowski, Ric Izquierdo and Richard Kopolovic. Botox and Dysport form the core of her injection practice, and she uses neuromodulators to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Her advanced injection training covers Sculptra, neuromodulators, Dysport, Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse and Juvederm, along with Lumenis lasers and IPL for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. As a trainer for Baltech Medical Corporation, she has instructed physicians and nurses in neuromodulator and filler techniques. Reviewers report having been her clients for more than 20 years. According to the salon, she is an excellent injector and a leader in her field. She is a member of the Illinois Medspa Association and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.
