Carol Donohue

Carol Donohue is an Advanced Nurse Injector at Chicago Aesthetics Surgery & Med Spa, and the salon lists her credentials as RN and BSN. She has worked in nursing for more than 34 years, with over 19 of those in aesthetic medicine. Truman College awarded her nursing degree in 1985, and she earned a Bachelor of Science from College of St. Francis in Joliet in 1992. Her early training was under oculo-facial plastic surgeon David Turok. She has advanced training in Sculptra, neuromodulators, Dysport, Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse and Juvederm, and she has also been trained on Lumenis lasers and IPL for hair removal and skin rejuvenation. Most of her injection work involves Botox and Dysport, and she has used neuromodulators to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). She has collaborated with surgeons Ric Izquierdo, Richard Kopolovic, Peter Geldner, Gregory Turowski and David Ross. Baltech Medical Corporation has engaged her as a trainer, where she taught physicians and nurses neuromodulator and filler injection methods. She belongs to the Illinois Medspa Association and the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses. According to the salon, she is an excellent injector and a leader in her field, and a reviewer reports having been her client for more than 20 years.
