Carmen Reyes

Carmen Reyes owns Wax Reveal By Carmen and works as its waxing specialist, with a focus on Brazilian waxing alongside brow and face services. She began waxing in 2015 and was hired at a busy local studio, where she worked for nearly five years before opening her own studio in Lyndhurst after about eleven years in waxing. She was trained by Lady Peng and has eleven years of waxing experience.

She switched from hard wax to soft wax in her practice and now chooses the gentlest wax for delicate areas such as the lip, chin and sideburns. She speaks English and Spanish and serves Spanish-speaking clients.

She also shares her eleven years of hands-on experience through training for newer estheticians, teaching live-model Brazilian waxing, soft wax technique and the business side of working solo. Training is aimed at those who want to build a solo waxing business, and she corrects tension, angle and flow in real time while trainees practice on live models.
